Major Allen Barron
Major (Retired) Allen Barron is a native of Port Barre Louisiana and a 1994 graduate of Port Barre High School. After completing high school, Major Barron enlisted the Army. In 2006, he was accepted and attended the Army’s Officer Candidate School. Upon graduation, Major Barron earned his commission as a Second Lieutenant in the Army’s Air Defense Artillery Corps. Major Barron has filled many roles such as Platoon Leader, Executive Officer, Assistant Operations Officer, Company Commander, Assignments Officer, and Assistant Professor of Military Science at Tulane University. He has completed many assignments throughout the United States and overseas including Germany, Saudi Arabia, Bosnia, Kosovo, Iraq, and Qatar, eventually retiring from active duty in 2018.
Major Barron earned an undergraduate degree from the University of Louisiana at Lafayette and a graduate degree in Leadership Studies from the University of Texas at El Paso. He has also completed a number of military courses to include the Primary Leadership Development Course, Basic Non-Commissioned Officer Course, Army Officer Candidate School, Air Defense Artillery Basic Course, and the Air Defense Artillery Captain’s Career Course.
Major Barron is married to the former Lori St. Cyr of Opelousas, Louisiana. They have two wonderful boys, Connor (13) and Caleb (9). He and his family are happy to once again call south Louisiana home.

You will find 7 full length practice tests for the ACT that mimic the structure and timing of the actual ACT exam. Test topics include the following:
- English: tests knowledge of grammar, usage, and organization
- Math: includes options such as arithmetic, algebra, geometry, data analysis, and trigonometry
- Reading: assess reading comprehension skills
- Science: tests ability to analyze and interpret scientific information.
Virtual students are welcome to attend our CCRC campus.
