WELDING

          

 

The Welding program provides students with National Center for Construction Education Research (NCCER) Welding Level 1 Craft Curriculum and the choice to continue to National Center for Construction Education Research (NCCER) Welding Level 2. The program prepares students to work in the welding field.

Prerequisite for Welding 1- National Center for Construction Education Research (NCCER) Core    Industry Based Certification (IBC) being earned: Welding 1-National Center for Construction Education Research (NCCER) Welding 1 and OSHA 10 General Industry-Construction Industry   

  Prerequisite for Welding II-National Center for Construction Education Research (NCCER) Welding Level 1 IBC being earned: Welding II-National Center for Construction Education Research (NCCER) Welding Level 2                                                

 

 

Upon completion of the program, students will be able to:

∙ Demonstrate integrity, motivation, dependability and reliability and willingness to learn.

∙Demonstrate skills related to applied science, basic computers, applied mathematics/measurements, reading for information, listening and following directions

.∙Demonstrate understanding of business fundamentals, teamwork, adaptability/flexibility, planning and organizing, problem solving and decision-making and applied technology..
